The activities of the Department include:

• organizing the collection of accounting data;
• collecting data sent from accounting offices;
• creating a computer database on the basis of accounting data received from accounting offices;
• preparing reports and analyses and disseminating the results;
• submitting individual FADN farm reports from a statistically representative sample of farms to the European Commission every year.

The above activities are carried out by six sections : Methodology and Training Section, Accounting Data Collection Organization Section, Accounting Database Supply and Management Section, Results Analysis and Dissemination Section, Multimedia Communication Section and Farm Typology Section.
