International conference in Jachranka near Warsaw (December 2018)

On 10-12 December 2018, the Institute of Agricultural and Food Economics – National Research Institute has organized the International Scientific Conference entitled “Industrial versus small farms – competitors or partners” in Jachranka, near Warsaw. The conference was organized in the framework of the Multi-Annual Programme 2015-2019 “The Polish and the EU agricultures 2020+. Challenges, chances, threats, proposals”.
During the conference Minister Prof. Dr. Dimitar Grekov gave Professor dr hab. Andrzej Kowalski, Decoration of Honor of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry of the Republic of Bulgaria. This Decoration was awarded for long-term international scientific cooperation. The Minister and former Rector of the University of Agronomics in Plovdiv stressed that the Decoration is also part of the celebration of the 100th (one hundredth) anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Poland and Bulgaria and is not only a specific part of this event, but also an expression of gratitude and an act of honoring all actions taken in the field of development of agroeconomic sciences.
The conference has been attended by more than 130 guests from Polish and foreign institutions. There were among others representatives from:
